I don't know that it's going to work because of the frame ears on the KDX. That picture is probably from an MX model. Most KDX plates are not the wrap-around type. A lot of folks use the one from Off-road Specialties in Utah.

The Devol assy for the "H" and "A" (220) KDXs look like what's shown below. The difference between this and what I've seen for other aluminum plate offerings is the water pump guard.

I personally think the devol water pump guard is a bad design. If it were to take a hit it just snaps the bolts off. May protect the pump while it's at it, but you're screwed regardless. The pans that have in integral pump guard are the way to go, and I think the off-road specialties model does that. Fortunately, the KDX has a built in pump guard too.

I never seen a skidplate for a KDX or on a KDX with the guard on each side like the N8Strine picture.

I think all the avalaible models are flat like the Jeb picture.

I'm the owner/rider of a Devol waterpump guard and I like it. I must post a picture to show all the sratchs and bruise on it...

I'm going to buy some 1/8" or 1/4" aluminum plate (drops from a local metal fabricator) and make my own. Cheaper and I can customize for more protection.

The devol guard makes your engine sound like it's ready to explode.
It reflects and amplifies all engine noise and vibration.
Junk

I always thought Devol stuff was hammered out metal by cavemen. Looks like crap but works.

I actually forgot about you mentioning that on the H&M ride . . . I wonder how much other skidplates do the same since they all look similar for the KDX
