FMF "Q" mounts

when my "Q" arrived it had the cottonreel mount included.i used it at the silencer mount.looking at a picture of a kdx in a dirtbike mag being prepared for a dyno run with new complete FMF system there appears to be some sort of spacer at the forward mount(the one welded to the pipe).its difficult to see properly in the pic and as my kdx has been through a few hands i've no way of knowing if there were spacers oginally fitted.no sign of them in the manual but i thought i would confirm it with you guys.
