Get here by car, too, if you trailer your bike......

You can use Mapquest...7646 Rethorne Rd, 97537.

Exit 48 (City of Rogue River) LH turn over railroad tracks.
LH immediately after tracks.
Straight through 4-way stop (after stopping).
Six or so miles up, LH on Minthorne Rd.
About a mile..RH on Redthorne Rd.
At the end of the road, first driveway on the right in the cul-de-sac.
Address number is on the mailbox post.

You get a place to park yur behind, basic facilities (2.5 acres to take a leak), and I may even throw in some water!!! Some of it might even be hot!!

It's looking like a ride Friday afternoon (around nooners), all day Saturday, and Sunday morning.

If you're coming down Friday, let me know! I'll disarm the driveway IEDs, chain the wolves, and take the strings off the 12ga. booby traps.

We'll be riding Quartz Creek, mostly if not all. It is north of RR..off the Merlin (exit 61). Through Merlin to Hugo Rd (4-5 miles?). Right on Hugo Rd. 2 1/2 miles up, LH on Quartz Ck. road. Staging area is 3 1/2 miles up Quartz Ck Rd, on the right. Paved the whole way.

May be riding Johns Peak Sunday.......

'Interested' means you'll BE HERE...right?

Neat!

gonna' try...got a few things to coordinate....I'm a single parent with an 11 year old son and dog, who loves to ride (not the dog) but this doesn't sound like a 'bring your kid to the woods day'...so I'll try and get someone to stay with them. I have a fellow KDX buddy here that might like to go which would ease the gas $$$ and you folks sound like it's a 'more the merrier' event. All this is predicated on me coming back from this Saturday's VDR race in one piece, or most of one

Make it happen somehow. CC, Wibby and Skipro are a great bunch of guys to ride with. A ride in the State of Jefferson makes it even better!!! I promise that you will not regret the experience... :prayer:

does sound like fun...coupla' more ?'s

jetting...mine's spot on for up in the Portland area...about 200 feet...looking at the google maps trying to get an idea where you'll be, should I be prepared to do some tuning ahead of time?

and speaking of the riding are....what's it like? I'm not envisioning it looking like Augusta Nat'l golf course...which is my ultimate riding fantasy

Nice pics! (again) ski!!

QC is maybe (I should know, but don't) 1500-3000' or so.

Some of Wibby's pics over the months would give you the best idea of what to expect. Fairly open woods, clay soil is most common, some of it is actual dirt. Not a lot of rocky stuff.

Hhhmmm...will this work...

Click this!

It's just good stuff.......

Ha! I hadn't seen this.

The clay, the hole, the angled stick, the OTHER angle stick pretty much always screwed me at this spot.

...never seemed to bother Wibby.........

Some boob went and cut the thing out. They should'a left it alone.......

Go to smugmug, search for 'Wibby', look at 'do it in the dirt' and 'quartz creek'.
