Carb Size....

So i was doin some reading about the 220's and their carb sizes. IT seems from what ive read that Kawasaki put a smaller carb on the 220. What would be the result and is it even possible to put a larger carb on a 220, say one from a 200? Can this be done and what would happen?

Search around- that's something that has certainly been done and discussed on here-
supposedly makes better HP all the way through- though intuition tells me that it'll be at the sacrifice of a little Torque- which is really what the 220 is designed for.
