hey guys.........just wonding if theres a trick to torquing the cylinder nuts i looked on the special tool site,but found nothing ..... i got a couple ideas how i might go about it....one being by moding a boxend wrench so you can use your torque wrench on it .......(i think that will be better then a crowsfoot):rolleyes:

To be honest... I torque by feel on those... never a problem yet!

A crow's foot never worked for me. Motion Pro makes a box end wrench that works well. It has a 12mm on one end, a 14mm on the other, in the middle is a 3/8" drive hole for the torque wrench. They include a formula for calculating the changed torque value, but if you just rotate the wrench to be 90° to the torque wrench shaft, you don't need to change anything.

By feel is fine...but that low a torque can sneak up on your calibrated elbow....

By feel...but using a relatively short wrench....so I don't get inclined to over-torque.

Kinda warm up the wrench/arm combo on something similar...so the 'feel' required is familiar

No problems to date.

thanks guys......you were all a GREAT help !!!!! my buddy told me about the motion pro wrench ($15.00 at the local bike shop) i think i'll go that route ver(s) making one ....
