KIPS seals?

Hi Guys. Been lurking here for a bit. Lots of good info here. I just got my 220 cylinder replated. I did not pay attention to the the oil seals(on the KIPS shaft that runs parallel to the crankshaft), when I took them out.

Which way does the open side go, on these seals? Thanks in advance.

I think I can picture what you are talking about, but if you could post up a pic, that would be great.

open side is oil side or closed facing out.

I can't figure out how to post a pic. The seals are on the shaft that actuates the 2 rotary valves, on each side of the piston. They probably go un-noticed if one is just disassembling, cleaning, and re-assembling the cylinder.

'Tis true...'tis always true. Not just this seal..any similar seal.
PN 92049-1238 looks like this:
You're looking at the 'open' side.
This same seal is used in a number of places on the KDX.
Re: How to post a pic
Put the URL link to the pic between BBCode img tags. BBCode tags are placed between brackets, [ and ]. Considering that a lot of websites do not allow linking (reference to a pic on their website from another site for example), upload the desired pic into your KDXRider gallery, copy the string (right click on the opened picture, select properties) into the *img* code string.
simple pimple

??
You ARE putting a Wiseco in that cylinder, right? At any rate, NOT a Pro-X?

Thanks for the photo loading tips, Canyon Carver, and yes a Wiseco piston was sent, to the platers, along with the cylinder.
Thanks again, guys.
