How are you going about getting a plate for it? I used the modified title (form MV-246) a couple of years ago on an XR400, but didn't know if they still allowed that.

Looks good.

sorry so long to reply. first off the silencer extension works to keep the spooge spray from the pipe off the back of the bike. i got my title transferred at a local auto dealer when I bought the bike and it was titled motorcycle instead of ohv. I needed no special papers. just like a normal bike. insurance registration and inspection. the light package was from pro cycle. http://www.procycle.com great site and jeff is a lot of help. you have to do the wiring yourself. It came with a wiring harness you just have to wire it and use a little inginuity. I need a better stator maybe 75 watts. with the lights on and turn signal on when you hit the brake, the brake and signals alternately flash. Not enough output

Oh and by the way it is plated

I have baja designs kit on mine it has aa batteries to run lights with bike off . I have to run 75 watt stator and led tail light to make things work in dark with 35 -35 head light. I also have 94 dr 350 plated with no batteries looks like a christmas tree when i use turn signals every light will flash. I think dr has 90 watt stator which makes me think the aa batteries help with the voltage draw.

So now that the bike is street legal and I've ran a couple tanks of gas thru it on the road I now need a road bike. Maybe a buell blast. I do love being able to connect trails. I rode up to the local mountain with has a overlook in the valley. I passed two police officers and they just waved. I was waiting to the blue lights to check me out. the Kenda tires work great on and off road.

I run non dot tires on both my bikes the dr is the dirt model which is way better on the street. I have even put 2 bead locks in rear and none in front not much better on the kdx one thing that did help with the vibration was my 03 kx 125 forks which I didn't expect but didn't mind.
