Rebuilding the rear shock (93 KDX)

I will be tearing the shock down this weekend to freshen it up with new seals, oil, and nitrigen. I havent ordered anything for it as of yet. Is there anything I need to pay perticular attention to? Maybe a list of things to check or replace.

When I took the shock off I saw that the former owner had the nut and lock nut tightened all the way down as far as it would go and it had about 20psi of nitrigen in it. Basicly when I checked the nitrigen what little that was in it came out. I guess he was trying to make up for the lack of nitrigen by tightening the nut down?

be forwarned that some shops will not recharge a shock they themselves did not put back together

Things can go real bad if'n it's not done correctly

There's just a very small amount of nitrogen in it but it is at very high pressure

I serviced my own it was a piece of cake
