Anyone try Pro Honda GN-4 in the tranny?

I've got quite a bit of Pro Honda GN-4 at the house because of my son's CRF70. In addition to being their "4-stroke motor oil" (10W-40), I read on the back of the bottle that the oil is also specified for use in Honda's 2-stroke transmissions too.

Has anyone used this oil in their tranny? Is anyone aware of a reason why I shouldn't use it in mine?

Thanks!

No reason not to run it...It's an oil designed for wet clutch use so it's good to go. There is no difference between a 4-stroke trans, and a 2-stroke trans in general...They are seperated from the crankcase. Never actually run THAT oil, but have used several '4-cycle motorcycle transmission' oils...

I talked to a parts guy at a local dealer who carries several brands and that is what he runs in his personal YZ. He said it is quality stuff and the price is right for sure.
