frame number

hi i have kdx200 the frame number starts dx200c how can i tell if its a 86 87 0r 88 thanks very much
Hi. Welcome to kdxrider. If you post the whole frame number, I can look it up in a Kawasaki dealer only manual, then let you know.
EDIT: I looked.
1987 frame numbers start with DX200C-004801.
1988 frame numbers start with DX200C-009301.
For anyone else reading this, this IS NOT related to a VIN. This is a UK model "FRAME NUMBER".
