Went to a race last weekend put on by the Auckland Classic Scramble Club here in NZ.
Here's a video of the last race taken by one of the vets, (not me). I really should try and get my own video, but my gopro is a old pos. Might have to upgrade.
There were 2 other KDXs in the starting lineup.
Enjoy.

I saw the green pea in the carrot soup!
Thank you, Collin. I like the video because it is possible to hear the engines while seeing what the bikes are doing. It's very cool that KDXs participate in modern events.

Well, it was a modern event, as in it happened a week ago, but it was for vintage bikes. Here in NZ, that means pre-2000. I get a pass with my 2005 KDX because it's exactly the same bike that was first made in 1995, with no changes except for "bold new graphics" though Kawasaki didn't really even do that on the KDX.
I do have a more modern bike, but I love the VMX racing. It is so much fun, and the tracks are always so good.
The track in the video was the same track (same farm paddock) that was used in the 1975 NZ MX Nationals. So a lot of the older riders were having a bit of a nostalgic moment.
