Moose Balls (street use)?

Curious to know whether Moose Balls can tolerate any street use. I ride by KDX and DRZ to trail heads using county roads. Speeds do not exceed 40 mph. One-way distances range from 8 to 20 miles.

I'm curious to know as well. I would say definitely NO to regular mousse type tubless inserts, but I'd imagine Mousse Balls might be a bit more tolerant to the heat generated by higher steady state cruising speeds on pavement. I'm curious about Mousse Balls in general, although I am very much totally sold on Nuetech Tubliss systems. If I was regularly riding in an area where cactus thorn punctures were frequent, I'd switch to Mousses (probably Mousse Balls) or Luciolis 8mm thick extreme duty hard enduro tubes (only Luciolis on a very powerful engine like a 220 + RB head, or a Boyko, Tom Morgan , Pro Circuit ported 200 or ported big bore 200, or a 300/250 etc.

Regardless what you use, get some big heavy clip-on-spoke type balance weights to put opposite the rim lock(s) for road use otherwise you'll have a terrible hopping in the wheels on smooth roads at 40mph+. Buy a motorcycle wheel balancing stand and then fine tune the amount of weights.
