Bought IMS Super Stock Foot Pegs for my KDX 220. The left peg didn't fit or work properly. I double checked the package label (photo).

Here is the OEM foot peg installed without the spring during fit-up activity with aftermarket IMS peg. Note the peg angle / orientation.

The IMS peg dimensions were not correct for peg portion that pivots between the ears on the frame. Here's photos of the OEM and
modified (ground) IMS peg to provide proper fit / function.

So, forum mates, was your experience with IMS Super Stock similar to mine? Or, did both after market IMS Super StockPegs? fit correctly ?

Excellent recall, KDXGarage! Other forum members report need to grind peg for proper fitment. They also reminded me there was problem with fitment with OEM spring. In my case, I straightened the spring end that inserts into peg hole. This was necessary for both springs.

I did see a few people say they had no problems. Send them an e-mail and let them know. Something must have happened at some point.

I saw a few people mention having to adjust the spring. No biggie for the big upgrade, but having to modify the peg is not so good.

Here's another thread about both IMS Pro and Super Stock problems. Seems the foot pegs should have a lower price because fifty percent of the purchases require fiddling.

I put on the same foot pegs this fall. There was a slight upwards cant to them as well, but not as bad as yours, totally livable. I suspect it's purely a matter of manufacturing tolerance of the frame, combined with the peg design. Stock pegs work no on any frame, these no so much! Do like em though!

Kawib, my peg install is complete and now I know it's not just me. When finished, my pegs are angeled just a little bit and at equal angle. Will try them before making them truly level like on my DRZ

It was also necessary to remove a tooth from the right peg (after photos attached). The tooth with folded peg made mid-width contact with rear brake. This prevented peg from folding as much as it should and also could potentially damage brake lever on hard ground small.
