Getting ready to store my 1991 kdx200 for a year or 2. My main concern is crank seals. Ran pump gas. I will be fogging the cylinder and leaving the tank and carb empty. Any tips? Thanks

Mice hate the smell of dryer sheets. Of course, some rat poison.

👍 Thanks, so probably not have to worry about the seals, most notably the crank seals?

Take off the air filter and block the boot. Consider getting it fuel free, then block vent hoses. Anyone have any ideas on filling transmission oil to the limit of the vent to keep things lubed and moisture out?

Seal the spark arrestor.

Light oil mist on pretty much anything non-aluminum. Grease the chrome tubes of the forks.

Thanks, great suggestions. I’lll do all of those things for sure. Like I said my main worry is the crank seals, but they should probably be fine???

Good luck. Put a dust cover over her.
