I have been around for a while, but I don't think I have ever introduced myself. I have a bunch of bikes, but my favorite is the E-series KDX 200. My goal is to own every one of them, and with the one I bought today, I now have 7, and probably 1 1/2 in parts. I race regularly (hare scrambles, enduros) and my results are about the same, whether I am on a 30+ year old KDX, or a modern KTM 250/300/350.
I drove 5 hours each way to pick up this 1989 KDX 200 with only 371 miles on it.

She's a beaut, Clarke!
I'm looking for a nice pair of stock green handguards for it. Let me know if you have a set.

DAY UMN
Congratulations on the find!
Can you elaborate on your goal as to owning which models? I was on the hunt for a while, but have changed plans / interests / goals.

I was kind of joking when I said that, and I meant every E-series ever, not an 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, and 94!
It all started a few years ago when I bought a 1994 KDX 200 for $150. It had thrown the chain and punched a whole in the case, but I replaced it and it has ran great for years - I can't kill the thing. And it started my addiction to the E-series...

Ha ha! I hear you. They can creep in on you. :-) Have fun with that one, and enjoy those E models.

So I bought yet another KDX, a 1991 KDX 200, with only 237 miles on it.
And I just did the North East 24 Hour Challenge race on a team named "Getting It Done on a KDX". Our team of 6 riders had 6 KDXs there.

Just stop it. Come on now. We believed you the first time, but we are on to you now. Those are photshopped. :-)
CONGRATULATIONS on that KDX as well as the race team all being on the lean mean KDX machines!

Beautiful bike! I love the color way on the 91 with the blue/pink combo. Although not OEM, the anodized blue USD forks would look sweet. Enjoy.
