Hi all, my 91 KDX200 has a messed up power valve. I really don't know the correct terms but ill try to explain. So the gear that is supposed to be one with the valve has melted off and broken off the valve, so one of the valve that fluctuates the size of the exhaust port can no longer be controlled because the gear on the top broke off, and to throw the icing on the cake I cant really get that valve out, ill try some more tomorrow but it will be hard. But even if I do get it out where do I find some? I found some on eBay for 240 bucks which are made of of steel thus stronger, but I really would prefer not to do that because I already have to throw about 600 at the bike to make it decently reliable. And there's where the money pit starts, So if you got any suggestions let me know, or if I'm just being cheap lol

Here's some really poor picks that maybe will help describe what I'm dealing with

I've never purchased from either company. They are supposed to be good products.

Read up online about drilling and threading, using a puller to get the shaft portion out.

You can look around here for info on riding it without any power valves. It will not work as designed, but will work. New subvalves cost what new subvalves cost, whether it is in your budget or not.
