Is it possible to put a top end off an 88kdx200 on a 86 kdx200 ?

I have an 87 and as far as I know the motor is the same same on all of the C models although I think they changed the carb on the 88. I think your chances are good but hopefully a C model expert will give you a more definitive answer.
