94 KDX in Blue?

Did 94 KDX really come in blue, or is this either misprint or someone changed the color?
It was a 1990 or 1991. Just google for pics.
SS109 had one.

On the E-series bikes it was only available in 1990.

One of my riding buddies bought it.
$950, starts and runs. Seems like a steal these days.
Little noisy in top end, but not sure if he is familiar with the kips rattle. And kicker is slipping a bit.
He flips bikes a lot but so far thinks it might stick.
