Been lurking for a while. Thanks everyone who posts here.

Picked up an old barn find. Was in pretty poor condition. Radiator and engine oil had become one with each other, much the same story with the swing arm and frame.

Figured I would use it to learn about bikes so ended up pulling it apart and poking around. Bit off more than I could chew for a noobie, but pottered forward slowly and thanks to resources like this forum, the bike actually works now.

Currently got some road bike bits and bobs on it because my main track bike blew up and I figured why not see how well a kdx does as a motard. (Mixed feelings about using it on tarmac)

I might make a write up later about the various experiment results, such as klx250 rear shocks, clip on bars(Interesting outcome ) and the various on going antivibration and chatter experiments which I am havinh trouble with

Hahaha. I have probably as much time putting a shine to it than riding it so far. I must be married now. Is this what it feels like

Yeah I was not expecting much when I ordered it but it seems that china pitbike products are not that bad. Lets see how long it lasts.

Its another ebay fuel filter that is being used as an oil filter/viewing port. It screws open to make bleeding line easier. Hooked up to a universal radiator overflow that is hiding in the airbox and filled with 2t oil. The original oil tank was missing. I clean airbox after rides so figured just top up oil then.

I dont do proper enduros with it. I would not trust this set up for proper enduros as the line could get bashed against a rock but for light pottering around like I do, it hasn't had any problems. Yet.

My old man doesn't seem to mind bike bits in his lounge room.
