I just wanted to throw out what I did for pipe change on an 05 220 now a true 225. I had the PC plat 2 on the bike since stock and thought it was ok. Well after RB experimental head , air box, cleaned up porting ,millenium 70mm cylinder , I was wrong about the pipe. I bolted on an FMF Gnarly rev pipe and wow did that wake it up. As ive read before , I think the bottom end is fairly close but dam does the midrange pull so much harder and longer. I almost had talked myself into leaving it alone ,, but what fun is that

I've always said the FMF desert/rev pipe is the best pipe for the KDX200 and especially the KDX220. The desert/rev pipe gains a LOT of top end and doesn't sacrifice any noticable low end. The top end gain is massive.

On this bike " engine set up " the mid range pull is night and day, I dont have a tach but do have a digital mph meter and top speed was very close. Anything over 1/2 throttle and hang on

If one wanted a milder trail bike and didnt have many mods , then id suggest to stay with the PC pipe

The more i ride and tune for this rev pipe , the more I like it , forth gear 1/3 to half throttle it has plenty of pull

Yeah I had a Pro Circut on another 220 I had and was totally unimpressed with it seemed just a little better but than stock they should make the Gnarly Rev for alot more bikes it is a winner for sure works at every Rpm range very well glad you figured it out Smile
