Wiring help

So I tried using the manuel but confused my self I'm just wondering the wires I have circled are these needed I believe they were used to run a light, there pretty much disconnected, but the yellow one is what I'm not sure about can i just seal that up and not use it

Still unsure but I reclip/wrapped and taped a few tnings as they didn't look to healthy

USA model:
Green / White from coil to CDI
CDI:
Black to ground
Black/White to Black/White from kill switch
Blue, Black, Red/White to stator plate
Yellow to light switch
Red goes out from lightswitch
