Hi All new to the forum. Picked up a nice 03 220. Less than 600 miles, all the maintenance records, Motor has never been touched.
Just had new tires put on, the old ones were dry rotted but still had the rubber whiskers on them. Desert pipe. Started cold on the second kick.
In my shop now for new piston, KIPS cleaning, jetting and then will get to the suspension lube, bearings and dial in. I'm 6'2 and 215 with gear so
reckon the stock front is gonna be kinda mushy. Open desert riding in AZ is all I'll do. Nice bike and was happy to find it.

What a find! Very nice looking bike! Where in AZ? I go out there at least twice a year and always take my KLX 250 for camping and riding. Now, I'll have to start taking the KDX also.

I ride south of Florence. lots of trails and can ride almost to Tucson from there.

Yep, I've done the Coke Ovens and the backside of Mt Lemmon, along with a lot in the TNF
