Hi guys, new to the forum, new to the KDX. I rode a XR80 for the last 3 years with my son who was on an XR50. He moved up to a KTM65, and I couldn't stand him being faster than me! So...I moved up to the KDX200. Only one trail ride so far, in sand, and I fell probably 4 times! I loved it though, and am learning to ride this bigger bike. I'm only 5'7" so it is a big adjustment for me! She's a ratty old bike, but runs good, and I bought her cheap, so I love her.

Welcome to the forum! The KDX is a bullet proof bike (basic maintenance) and parts are pretty plentiful and reasonably cheap. Never a bad decision to add on to the garage. Enjoy!

Welcome to kdxrider.net! :partyman:

I think the best thing is to find a service manual, and read up on repairs your bike needs.

If I may politely point something out. Both bikes need the chains adjusted a little tighter.

Welcome to the forum, and as noted above, bullet proof bikes when maintained....like the chain lol.

Nothing more fun than chasing the kids around the trails

LOL, actually, I just did the KTM chain, and haven't even noticed the KDX chain. Will get on that!

You have a kickstand, and the front brake hose routed correctly inside the fork. You are doing well in some other areas.
