1984 KDX250 questions (frame and carb)

Got a hold of an 84 kdx250 The rear part of the frame (subframe?) is broken off. Can I substitute another frame, lets say from a 1980-ish kdx? Does anyone have any idea which frame these aircooled motors will bolt up to?
Is the 84 kdx200 frame the same?
Also, need a carb. What do I look for? I have a 36mm keihn carb I took off of my 2006 ktm 300. will it fit?
