Hi everyone,
I just purchased a new to me 2003 KDX 220R. This is the first dirt bike I have ever purchased, rode and learned on. I have owned it appropriately 4 weeks, rode it twice and so far I absolutely love it!

I grew up riding quads, and sold my 2008 Honda 400 EX last year. Yes it was a little bittersweet selling it as I thought I was going to hang up motorized hobbies and stick to just Mountain biking. Well, I got the itch for something and found a decent enough deal, so here I am!

I look forward to reading your post and learning more and more about not only the KDX but “thumpers” and “ 2 smokers” as I meet new peeps on here and on the trails.

And yea what part of NC are you in? Where do you usually ride at?

Welcome, I lived in Charlotte for a while back in the 80's. I like NC, when you drive on the roads in NC you know why Nascar started in NC.

I'm in Winston Salem. I'll probably take my KDX to Brushy mountain or Carolina adventure world.

Ehhhh don't waste your $$ on Carolina adventure world. Trust me.... It Sucks. Its a place for quads and SxS to go and get drunk and mud bog

Brushy is always a good time though! You ever come out to Brown Mtn at all too? Are you on FB at all? We have a local riding group on there That's very active with people always riding/racing. There's a handful of people out your way too. I'm in Lenoir, so just a little ways West of you. Come on out and ride with us sometime
