For my hybrid which is a 2001 KX125 frame based (same frame as yours) I used FMF Racing TurbineCore 2 Spark Arrestor Silencer 020342 Kawasaki KX250 99-02. Had to make a small spacer bracket for the mount but no issues with fit/clearance

I would think the same year KX250 silencer as the frame. My 05 hybrid has an 05 KX250 silencer. I too had to do a little work to make it fit. When you bolt the silencer in place on the frame, it won't fully engage in the pipe. You can either make a ring to take up this gap on the pipe, or you can make a bracket to slide the silencer in closer to the pipe. There may be other ways, but those are the two scenarios that I have seen. I slid the silencer back with a bracket. I like how this worked out because it ended up putting the PCII silencer output right at the edge of the number plate, rather than having the look of a super long silencer sticking out (which I don't really care for, but to each their own).

Exactly the same on mine, if it mounted in the brackets the pipe union was short. I also slid the pipe together fully and just fabbed a bracket for the silencer. Actually, I didn't fabricate one, I used on of the spare rear head mount brackets that aren't used on the hybrid since you cut off the rear head stay. It was a perfect fit. You can see it in the picture below.

Man that is sweet, I didn't even think to try that!

I just slid the pipe all the way where I wanted it, held a piece of aluminum flat bar behind it, marked 4 holes, drilled, trimmed, wala
