does that slip over a pipe, or go between the end pieces in the stock silencer? I'm missing the middle section and wondering if you just solved my mystery!

I think it is somewhat in the middle by looking at the parts diagram.I bought mine used with an FMF already on it, so I have not had a stock one open.

The parts diagram didn't really clarify this for me, but that looks close enough to my missing part to be worth the gamble.

No dice. The part I need is 49099-1286 the baffle, I think
Hard to tell whether it's an either/or with the baffles or both.

No. I am just saying it is a picture of the stock packing. No way would I suggest anyone buy that. You need to buy another one and run it or make one out of two.
