93 klx 250 forks

I just picked up a 93 klx 250 roller are the forks better than the stranded kdx 200 91 forks or can i use the springs out of the klx heavy spring rate any help would be great
I don't know what country you are in, but we didn't get a 1993 KLX in the U.S.
If it is the same fork setup as a '94-'08 KLX250/300, it is a bolt-on front end for your KDX, and does offer heavier springs and a more sophisticated (though still pretty basic) and tunable cartridge system than the damping rod forks on your '91 KDX.
