So me and my dad got my first dirtbike, 1999 KDX 200, last August and its been a lot of work to get it to the point it's even at. Anyways I ride at 5000 to 7000 feet in elevation and have a 150 main jet, 45 pilot jet (I think), and the stock needle with the clip in the first position. When I am in first gear with the bike just about to die and hit full throttle there is a lot of hesitation and bogging for a few seconds. Any suggestions on what to change?
There's also an FMF Gnarly Woods and TurbineCore2 silenceron the bike if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance!

Is the needle clip in the first position from the top or bottom? I'd try a leaner pilot jet at that elevation.

The clip is in the highest position so that the needle is as low as possible. So like a 43 or lower pilot?

I would presume that the 3rd or middle position would clean it up alot.

Bog is lean, blubber/stutter is rich. Raise the needle up and feed it some fuel.

Oh OK thanks a lot. There is a little sound on deceleration sometimes that I would describe as a sputter, would that be the pilot being too rich?
