Upside down fork leg protectors

Is it me or is it real that these parts are hard to come by? They seem to be too fragile for this bulletproof bike. Are there better alternatives?

The klx fork protectors fit the kdx forks. They aren't real fragile, just old.....which makes them fragile.

UFO plastics make quality lower fork protectors for various bikes...search the web for dealers or the usual Ebay
