Anyone now if is possible the conversion of the KLX 650 fork on a KDX 200 1998

You can cross reference the bearing sizes on All Balls website but why would you want the klx 650 forks they are an old design, conventional. I don't see any upgrade in using them.

KLX650 forks are inverted. I think they're a variation on KLX300 forks, and likely bolt straight on.

KLR650 forks are conventional.

Yes, but any 650 fork is gonna have some beefy springs in it.....650s are HEAVY bikes r/x doesn't matter, there is a lot of weight built into those machines and I'm sure the X is sprung properly for it. So plan on at the least putting a set of springs in (not that any other conversion would be different) and a re-valve.

According to the parts diagram, they are .43 kg springs stock.

Are you 185 in gear or just 185 by yourself?

Pretty smart to get the more heavily sprung forks.


KLX650 should be as KLX300 or older KLX250.

my wheight is 84 kg = 185lbs

I'd take a look at any of the other KLX conversion threads in this subforum. It's likely pretty much the same.
