Anybody throw some slicks/DOT street tires on a KDX and put it on a cart track?
A bunch of my roadracing buddies go to a local cart track with their CRF 150's, XR 100's, etc...mostly small displacement bikes.
Seems like the KDX would be a good time I have a reworked/sprung shock and KX forks on my 03 kdx.
Something like this.....

Yea, most are licensed roadracers, that race 600cc-1300cc sportbikes. Crashing at 40 or 50 mph and falling 1' to the ground is alot less damaging than going down at 140+.
Small tracks with supermotos are the most popular way for roadracers to practice, stay in shape, and have some fun in between race weekends and the off season.
That video is from Josh Herrins camp. He was an AMA SBK racer for Graves Yamaha (the factory Yamaha team). He went to Europe to race in Moto2 last year (1 class under the Motogp guys), but is now back in the states racing.
His camp is designed for up and coming riders/racers too....dirt or asphalt. It's a good thing.
