I noticed you started in neutral and drop into first. Its way faster to find tdc and start in 2nd.

Yea I usually do, but I'm trying to get my new lectron carb adjusted right. It is iffy right now if it will start in gear. It takes 2 -3 kicks often.

Old post but crank it when the line in front of you leaves. Shift into second and when you kill the engine but do NOT release the clutch until your start. Should help you start in gear. Also my KDX needs to be very warm to start in gear.

I've got a long way to go on my riding, but I've been hitting the gym this winter. I've lost 28 lbs. I think it will be very helpful to have more endurance.we will find out I go to my first race in three weeks.

My lectron carb is great. It get way better milage then the keihin. It took a little work and a needle change to get it dialed in. With the kdx 250 being fairly uncommon they did not have much of a baseline to go from. The only problem I have with it is detonation. For some reason the only way I can get rid of it is mixing premium fuel with race fuel 2 to 1.
