I just found an unopened bottle of bell ray synthetic si-7 oil that I bought in 2003 when I bought my kdx 220. Is it still good or should it pitch it in the can? If still good going to mix 40:1

I can't see why not as it's synthetic....

I've used 7 year old 2 stroke rock oil before with no problems.....

But if it was beer , then I'd have to think twice...!

Synthetically derived or synthetically produced materials break down over time as well as organic materials, some at a greater rate.

That being said, I'd run it in my kdx without worries, as long as it hasn't been frozen solid.
