Hello all,

Just wanted to drop a note and say hello and thanks for all the great information.

I started riding in 1981 and I have been involved in the motorcycle industry since 1992. After not riding for a while I finally decided to get back into riding consistently last year. After thoroughly reading these forums several times, I picked up a 01 KDX220 in decent shape and "modernized" it a bit. FMF pipe and silencer, Boyeson reeds, 03 KX250 forks, 2014 KXF front fender, klx450 headlight, green and black gripper seat and a white rear end.

These KDX's are great bikes for the money.

I grew up in the Sharon/Stoughton/Canton/Attleboro area. Left in '89 for points south.
There was some great riding out there. Power lines and old RR tracks could get you some big distances. We rode one day half way out to Cape Cod, camped out, and came back the next day. Sore butt!

That 220 would sure like an RBD head
