I have a 94 200 and need to clean up first 1/3 throttle. seems to be very rich, have all ready played with the needle and air screw. was wondering if anyone has tried the jd kits. they advertise a set for 95 or newer kdxs wonder how this would work out in my 94. any help or suggestions are appreciated. Bill

Yes jets are the same for an 89-94 and 95-06, they both use KEIHIN PWK carbs. But, it's probably cheaper to buy the individual jets for $7 odd each (probably less where you are). There is a jetting guide somehwere on here, work out if you need to go bigger or smaller, then buy 1 or 2 jets in that direction.

Have you tried the thicker OEM needle?
I have an FMF pipe on mine (1994 KDX200), and it sure helped clear up the 1/8 - 1/4 throttle range.

yeah I just bought individual jets, can't remember what my jetting is but I went a size or two smaller on my main and played with a 46 and 48 pilot and needle / air screw settings and I was spot on (I've got a different needle, CEK i believe). personally I like to run a lil rich on top end, keeps things safe. follow Indawoods' jetting guide and you will nail it
