Hello! I recently picked up my first dirtbike, not the first i have ever rode. It is a well used 91 KDX250. previous owner painted it, horribly, black and orange. i have just spent the weekend heating and scraping the ugly off. i shall post some before and after pics after i upload them to the interwebz.

i live in South Eastern Pa. close to lancaster. any KDXers around there? im a professional automotive technician so most of the work to this bike will be done by myself. i also own a 92 suzuki gs500 streetbike, also maintained by myself.

i will have loads of questions throughout my venture to bring this baby back to OEM quality and beyond.

I live in greensburg PA. This winter I bought a KDX200 and did a little work on it in the garage to have it ready for spring. It helps alot to have a service manual, but even the service manual leaves out a few important details . Reading threads on this website may give you some information that you might not have known.

Welcome to the site! You'll find loads of info (though more for the 200s than the 250s, but still plenty of good for the 250 as well). A little TLC and routine maintenance will keep you riding for a long time.

BTW I also ride a 1992 Suzuki...GSX-R600 All the bikes from back then were built like tanks...
