Looking for and axle, found one question is it is a 1997 KX Axles with a 18mm nut and the wheel is a 1999 and the shocks are from a 2001 KX, the parts diagram shows a 16mm nut for the 99 - 01 setup.
16mm part # is 41068-1406
18mm part # is 41068-1342

Will this work? Does the nut size matter??

The '97 and '99 - whenever axles are different. I THINK the axle clamping parts are different and won't work.

I thought that might be the case. Thanks

The '99 has a real, normal nut. The other one has the clamping portion on most of the length, then a six sided section.

If it is on eBay, and you are 100% sure that you are not going to bid on it, could you post a link to it?

Or just PM it to me?

I'm not sure if it would fit. I'll have to look more or go to BikeBandit to order it and the spacers

That's a rear axle for a KX, not the front axle.
