and I'm grateful there is now a choice in meeting other KDX owners to talk about our bikes and related topics!
I'm in Placerville, California (Near Lake Tahoe) and would like to meet up with other riders for trips through the woods. I work in the mountains as a telecom tech for the local electric company where most of my duties revolve around the gathering of weather and hydrography data. I love my job almost as much as riding my KDX. My other interests are: skiing, fishing and hunting.
I've done just about every hop-up imaginable to my 1999 KDX220R from KX forks to an auto-clutch and everythng in between. If there is anything you want to know about my experiances with the work I've done with this bike, please start a thread in the appropriate heading. I'll be happy to help out any way I can.
Jerry AKA skipro3
P.S. skipro3 is pronounced: Ski Pro 3
I got the name because I work part time as a ski instructor. We have a uniform jacket with the words: SKI PRO on the back to identify us as such to our students, resort guests, and other employees. I have locker #3 in the instructor locker room. hence; skipro3
See Ya!

Aha! That answers it!!

I've always wondered (even ASKED you once) whether it was:

Skee Pro 3

or

Sky Pro 3. ;)

You have a brown star? I don't have one!! How do I get one?? That's like an avatar thingy, right?

Many on other forums thought it was pronounced Skip Row 3 and they would call me Skip. Now sky pro, I like that.
