Hello everyone I just bought a 93 kdx on the cheap. So this looks like the place to hang out and learn. My first question is about the kick starter.... it does not catch every time. How do I go about fixing that?

Welcome to KDXRIDER! Usually that is caused by the ratchet gear teeth being worn down. Replacing the ratchet gears will usually fix it. As a quick fix, you can stretch out small spring that presses the two gears together and see if that helps. Too thick of oil has also been known to cause problems with kickstarter slipping.
