Is there a kx gas tank and swingarm that'll fit an 02 kdx200? I hate snail adjusters on a swingarm and I'd like to have a flatter seat juncture. Anyone know anything that'll work? Thanks!

You probably could get the swing arm from a KX 125 to fit but you would need to drill out the frame and the engine cases to accept the larger swing arm bolt that the KX uses and then the swing arm would need to be cut down on the engine mounting end like you would do for a hybrid. And then once you got the KX swing arm on then you would have those stupid jack bolt chain adjusters and no kick stand.

For a flatter seat to tank transition you could try a taller seat foam.

It might be that you are looking to do a hybrid more then change the KDX.

yeah. Im actually just curious as to options I have with this bike. Im going to ride it for a while before I start fooling with it trying mods. I have the entire front end off a 2001 yz 250 that I may try and mount up eventually though. Id love to make it look like a kx an keep the engine as a kdx, which explains why Im tring to find if a tank and swingarm can slip fit. As to losing the kickstand and snailcam adjusters- That's eactly what I want to do. a kickstand to me is nothing but a giant arm to come down when you dont want it to and get you hurt(don't ask me how I know this can happen!) and Ive never had to adjust the chain out on the trail so prefer mx-style adjusters.
