It would be nice if we could get a bearing and seal number list going so when someone needs to get the bearings and seals they can get the manufacture # and go thru a bearing supplier and not have to buy OEM or a kit.

When ordering from a " bearing distributor " , the oem part number means nothing outside of the bike world.
For example , If the wheel bearing # off the bearing is 203F , that's an industry std. 203 bearing with one seal.
I'd always reccomend to order a 203FF which is sealed on both sides.
Even the swing arm roller bearings have a number on the side.
If you can't read it , have someone with a good quality digital vernier measure the bore of the housing and the sleeve O.D. that the bearings ride on.
We've bought bearings as small as R/C or fishing reel ones to a bearing 18" in diameter for a log skidder.

What I was trying to say was if there could be a cross reference for like the front wheel bearing = what ever the bearing number is. Not the oem number. Getting bearings from a distributer is fine if you have the number or want to measure but if the old bearing is gone then it takes a lot more work to get the right bearing. And if there is any shipping involved then any savings could be gone by the time you get the right one.
