flyboy, the green powder coat was a stock polyester from Tiger drylacs fluorescent and special colours chart product code here in Canada is 49/51340, was the closest i could see that was Kawi green, that and applying the powder over the blasted frame pre-heated at 400F to get the flow , smoothness and gloss looking good :)
cheers

559stan, the blue seat was in ok, ish condition, i didn't fancy the pink lettering on it and just figured a re cover in black was the easiest and simplest way to go ???

pretty good match plus they have a ton of other varieties and ship anywhere.
For my 95 Im gonna pick up some of from link but then I see they have a metallic type pearl of a darker green but the flake kinda looks kawi green. I figured that would make a nice transition from the kawi green to that on frame and flat black powder for levers and such. Still photoshoppin till I find a good look
Really dig the bike you did a great job!

anyone ever took a temp reading on the exhaust close to the barrel? any wild guesses as to the temperature it may see, the majority of hi-temp paint systems in black are good for 1000F continuous and suges to 1200F, just looking for some info before i move ahead.
cheers

Yeah it does.
Where did you get the graphics? Did you have them custom made?

2 questions....
- brand, model and source for the green headlight?
- FMF pipe model? Gnarly? Fatty?
PS... bike looks great! Superb work!!

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I am seeing a Pro Circuit pipe.

You are correct about the PC pipe. It was (and may still be) available from either Chaparral or Rocky Mountain around Christmas.
That headlight is the same that I have...the Acerbis "Alien", which was the precursor to the DHH.
Those graphics look quite a bit like one of the standard packages for the KDX250 available from Senge.
