Hi All,

Looking for recommendations please for a Conrod kit, main bearings, seals etc because mine need replacing.

Original equipment or a particular alternative and where is the best place to buy them in the UK?

Many thanks
Andy

I used a Hot Rods rod kit. It has a good reputation and can be found easily. As for any bearings inside the cases, I like factory OEM bearings only. I just don't trust aftermarket bearings of unknown origin. If you want an excellent crank rebuilder I highly recommend Cooksey Crank http://www.cookseycrank.com/#!

Cheers for the reply Guys. America may be a bit expensive to send my crank too though lol

Been looking on the net and wondering what the real difference is between Hotrods, Pro-x and Mitaka - Mitaka are about half the price of the others??! Has anyone any recommendations on these makes (or disasters!) to share?

Thanks
Andy

He does bring up a very valid point.

I used a Hot Rods kit in my bike and have no complaints. I can't say it is the best, or the worst. It's a rod, it either works or it goes very very bad. So far it has worked.
