I have a 94, just got it a little while ago. Runs very, very strong. But when I kick it, its not grabbing anything. I haven't taken off that side cover yet, but I am new to KDX's. What will I most likely find to be the problem.

The most common cause is worn out ratchet gears, or a weak spring. You'll see what I mean when you get it apart.

Thanks.... I'm going to rip it apart in a day or so.

This is going to be one fun little bike that will be different from my fire breathing 450. I can't believe I got it so cheaply. I'm planning to have it as a bike I can use to teach a newbie 19 yr old how to ride.

But, I'm now thinking I want it for myself!

You will be surprised how well it will do with a few mods. Might make your "fire breathing 450", not seem so tough after all.
