so im trying to get replacement parts for my carb its a keihin PE off my 87 kdx. but heres the problem. ive looked at pictures of the PE model as well as all the other models and none of them match this carb. they all have something different about them. not sure what i shud do. or just buy a new carb off ebay

It did not come with a Keihin PE. It came with a Mikuni VM34SS. With the airbox completely in the way, I suggest you just buy a carb from a 1986 or 1987 KDX200. It will have the choke lever and idle screw on the right. The jet needle is also OEM only. If you shop for a VM34SS in general, it may not have the same slide, jets and choke lever, idle screw placement.

guess it depends on the exact parts you need
if the sum of the parts is more then a new carb, just get a new carb

you could off course check on ebay for a used one but then you'll never know what you'll get

i wonder if you could just call a place like rocky mountain ATV or bring it into your local bike shop and talk to the rep there
who knows, they may have the know how to find you the parts for the carb you have

i just need a rebuild kit and the top cover.

www.sudco.com has parts for all the mikuni's and keihins. I'd be shopping for a C model airbox for the PWK carb, and a PWK 35 KDX carb.
