Hello all,
I just picked up a 1989 KDX200 for $200. It is a complete bike and in not to bad of shape. I have not tried to start it yet, but it has good compression when I kicked it over. I was looking for a project bike and this seemed to fit the bill(semi-easy to get parts for and a strong cult-like following). So I am going to do a tear down and rebuild; if I can get it running. Hopefully I won't have to spend a small fortune to get it going. I also like to ride trials(not very good at it, but hay, it is fun).

Welcome to the site! Congratulations on getting one so cheap. It won't be cheap for long, but it was a good starting price point.

No Koko, it isn't. Actually the one I bought is in better condition than that.

Sweet. Post up pictures when you can. Looking forward to following the build. Maybe we can ride sometime. Worst case, I take my quad.
