I don't see why it wouldn't be OK. I mean, air cooled bikes were around for a really long time before liquid cooling became the norm and they didn't just use them on nice days. Just don't let it run for long when not moving since that is the only way for it to cool itself.

THE REAL QUESTION IS, WILL YOU HOLD UP?? LOL...I WAS JUST OUT RIPPIN ON THE 89' KDX 200. FINALLY PUT ON THE FMF FATTY, TURBINE CORE, AND THE BOYESON POWER REEDS. MAN I DIDNT CARE ABOUT THE HEAT ALL THE SUDDEN!!!!

Bike should be fine in the heat, just keep an eye on it. Like SS said, try to keep it moving.
