I slid off a 2 story metal roof at the end of april and fractured my heel. I didn't need any surgury just a cast for 2 months now I'm in a walking boot for another week or so. Hopefully I'll be outta this thing but my heel is still real sore. Any1 ever had this injury before and how did it heal up? I was hoping to start the hairscramble season but now I'm not so sure. Thanks for the replies.

I chipped both my heels jumping into a swimming pool when I was a kid. It was sore for months. Just had to keep walking thru it. Went away eventually.

Man, I hope you get better. Does it hurt to stand on your pegs on your bike? By the way, what the heck are you doing on a 2 story metal roof???

I hope it heals up for you to make your season. I'm pinching time here with my knee to make an enduro I've wanted to run. I still don't know what's wrong with mine exactly. Sucks being hurt.
