Well my hybrid has now gotten a little more 'Frankensteined' with the addition of a set of '07 KX450F forks.

I've really only been riding in the backyard. I hope to get out this weekend and really test the new front end. Going slow over rocks (like 5mph) they aren't as plush as the KX forks. But the faster you go, the better they perform.

Got to go riding yesterday and I am very impressed with these forks. Way better than anything I ever came up with on revalving the KX forks.

I've done one revalve on these to soften up the MX valving. I'm seriously considering not messing with them anymore. I was amazed at the rocks and logs I could hit at speed, these forks absorbed everything so well.

The only area that the KX forks had an advantage at were really slow speeds, like 5 mph. At that pace, they were more compliant over rocks. But at any other speed there was no comparison.

The bike turned better as well. I think I have an idea why, but I need to take the forks off the bike and compare them to the KX forks to be certain.
